Nepal Embassy London promotes Visit Nepal 2020 in Nottingham
London– The Embassy of Nepal in London hosted a special ceremony on the occasion of Democracy Day of Nepal, in Nottingham.
The ceremony, organised in cooperation with Nottingham Nepali Society, Midlands, was organised to promote the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign.
Gracing the Special Ceremony as the Chief Guest, Lord Mayor of Nottingham Rt. Hon. Rosemary Healy expressed hope that the ceremony will be instrumental to promote bilateral relations between the UK and Nepal and people to people relations between two great countries. She said she was encouraged to promote the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign and invited all to visit Nepal.
Ambassador of Nepal to the UK, Dr. Durga Bahadur Subedi, urged all the British well wishers and Nepalese to promote VNY 2020 and requested to visit Nepal with family and friends.
On the occasion Deputy Chief of the Mission at the Nepali embassy, Sharad Raj Aran, made a presentation about the nature, culture and VNY 2020.
Naumati Baja team from Birmingham played different tunes and artists from Midlands area performed six cultural dances.

Tourism video was displayed. About 350 guests including Mayor, Councillors, diplomats, members of Nepali diaspora organisations attended the Ceremony.
Ambassador Dr Subedi and Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor honoured executive members of the Nottingham Nepalese Society and appreciated their cooperation and contributions.
