Kathmandu  — China has invited major political parties leaders of Nepal to a summit with Xi Jinping. The meeting is being hosted online on Tuesday evening.

The northern neighbor is hosting the World Political Parties Summit on the occasion of the centenary of the Communist Party of China.

The CPC General Secretary, Chinese President Xi Jinping, will give a keynote speech at the event.

From Nepal, CPN-UML’s KP Sharma Oli, Nepali Congress’ Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-Maoist Centre’s Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal’s Baburam Bhattarai among others will participate.

The event will take place at 6 pm Tuesday Nepal time.
