Covid -9: Death toll of Nepalis abroad has reached 319

London — Two more Nepalis have lost their life due to the coronavirus pandemic in abroad.
According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), one each died in the UK and South Africa in the past week.
With deaths, the death toll of Nepalis abroad due to coronavirus has reached 319.
Coordinator of NRNA Health Committee Dr. Sanjeev Sapkota said that Nepalis living in 20 foreign countries have died of the pandemic so far.
As of Saturday evening, 54,591 Nepalis in 50 countries have been infected with the coronavirus, of which 52,945 (95 percent) have recovered.
The coronavirus tally reached 267,056 in Nepal as of Saturday afternoon after 240 new cases were reported.
The country has 4,058 reported active cases of the virus.
