Nepal to implement the bilateral agreement signed with Bangladesh in energy sector
Kathmandu : Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Barsha Man Pun, has said that the government of Nepal is ready to implement the bilateral agreement signed with Bangladesh regarding the development of energy sector.
Minister Pun said so as Bangladeshi Ambassador, Mashfee Binte Shams, paid a courtesy call to him today.
On the occasion, they discussed various issue of bilateral cooperation and mutual interest.
Saying that a new government had been formed in Bangladesh recently, Minister Pun expressed the view that Nepal was willing to collaborate with new government, in the energy sector in particular.
Similarly, Ambassador Binte said that there would be participation of the private sector from Bangladesh in the investment summit going to be organised by the government of Nepal.
She said that the government of Bangladesh was also willing to invest in energy sector of Nepal.
