Swiss Government to help Nepal to reduce investment risk and to attract more FDI
Kathmandu : Visiting Director General of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Manuel Sager, Friday said that the SDC would work with the Government of Nepal to reduce investment risk by means of sharing ideas so as to help Nepal attract more foreign investment.
A senior official of the Swiss government has pledged to support the socio-economic development endeavours of Nepal. In a meeting with Minister for Finance Dr Yuvraj Khatiwada in Singh Durbar today, Swiss Development Cooperation Sager committed to continuing support to Nepal in these sectors.
The meeting was held on the occasion of 60 years of Swiss partnership in the developmental sector in Nepal.
Minister Khatiwada on the occasion shared that the Swiss support in public transport and tunnel development technology would be fruitful in the mission of sustainable development of the country.
On the occasion, Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Elisabeth Von Capeller was also present.
